The 420-acre Heartland Public Shooting Park is unmatched for 1,000 miles in any direction. It boasts an incredibly wide range of disciplines available to shooters including lighted skeet ranges, lighted trap ranges, a 10-station sporting clay range, archery ranges, and complete rifle and pistol ranges from 25 to 600 yards. An Olympic bunker trap range was added in 2018. The park plays host to regional and national events every year. Hornady Manufacturing, headquarted in Grand Island, took over management of the park in 2023. Heartland Public Shooting Park is ready for recreational shooters as well as large events.
