The Grand Theatre 316 W. 3rd St. 308-381-2667, GrandMovieTheatre.com This 1937 Art Deco movie house is one of the landmarks in Railside. After commercial operation was no longer viable in the early 2000 s , a foundation was formed to purchase the building. Renovations over the last 15 years have The Grand sparkling again like it did on opening day. Most notable is the glass facade. The original Vitrolite, or colored glass, facade was restored to its original glory using a similar modern product. The Grandʼs facade was too large for the restoration specialists to repurpose salvaged tiles.

Movies can be seen every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night for $5.
