Livestock shows GILCA.org The livestock show facilities at Fonner Park are second to none, and national shows happen throughout the year here. Its displays include a walkable map, a combine simulator, and an adjacent 1-acre educational garden. New Resort Casino 308-675-5600, GrandIslandResort.com Rising out of the ground north of the events center is the new Grand Island Casino Resort ! This facility will replace the temporary location currently operating in the racing concourse. It will feature a hotel, spa, restaurants, pools, entertainment, and of course a much larger gaming casino. The current temporary casino offers more than 250 state-of-the-art slot machines, a sports book, and table games.
